Florida’s leading freshman sire Wildcat Heir got another impressive maiden special weight winner on Sept. 20th when his 2-year-old colt Simplifying streaked to 4 ½-length score at Calder.

The field included another promising son of Wildcat Heir – Miles Heir – who finished second to Simplifying in the 5 ½-furlong heat. The final time over a fast main track was 1:05.66.

A bay colt out of the Colonial Affair mare Dance Delight, Simplifying was bred in Florida by Helen Marie Napolitano. The colt is now 1-1-0 from two starts and has earnings of $22,600 for owner Michael Paramore.
