$85,000 Wildcat Heir yearling tops Day 1 at F-T OCT

A colt by Leading Freshman Sire Wildcat Heir topped the first session at the three-day Fasig-Tipton October Yearling sale in Lexington, KY, when Hip No. 152 went through the ring for $85,000.

Consigned by Beth Bayer as agent, the attractive chestnut colt was purchased by M H & B. A registered Florida-bred, he hails from the multiple stakes-producing Black Tie Affair (Ire) mare Tarahumara.

Wildcat Heir is Florida’s Leading Freshman Sire with more than $700,000 in progeny earnings to date. The brilliant Grade 1-winning son of Forest Wildcat also currently has an astonishing 26 two-year-old maiden winners – more than any other Freshman Sire in North America.
