Mayberry Madness broke his maiden by 15 ¾ lengths Friday, Aug. 10 at Calder, giving his sire Circular Quay the 4th winner from his debut crop to race.
After opening up to an eight-length lead at the halfway point, Mayberry Madness continued to increase his margin to crush his rivals by double-digit lengths.
Out of the the Deputy Minister mare Barnie Fife, Mayberry Madness is owned by his Florida breeder Gilbert G. Campbell. Circular Quay, a Grade 1-winning millionaire, is a leading freshman sire in Florida and stood 2012 for a fee of $6,500 stands and nurses.
