Florida's second-leading sire of first-crop winners Circular Quay chalked up number six Friday at Calder with Dublin's Diamond cruising to a front-running 1 3/4-length maiden score.
Dublin's Diamond controlled the pace from the outset of the six furlongs, never letting any of her foes within a length at any point, drawing out by four in mid-stretch before settling for the final margin.
The winner was bred in Florida by Gayle Woods. Her owner Galloping Acres Farm purchased the gray filly for $25,000 at the OBS Spring 2-year-old sale in April.
Dublin's Diamond is out of Klassic Kick who is a full sister to the three-time stakes winner Vicki Vallencourt.
