Bwana Charlie's Comma to the Top was assigned 121 pounds on the 2010 Experimental Handicap, fourth best among all juveniles of last year. Bwana Charlie was Florida's fourth leading sire of 2-year-olds in 2010; Journeyman's Awesome of Course and Wildcat Heir were 1-2 on the same list.
The Experimental Free Handicap is published annually in late January by The Jockey Club since 1935. Each list is compiled for a hypothetical race for 2-year-olds in their division at 1 1/16 miles on dirt. To be eligible for weighting, a 2-year-old must have finished in the top four in a graded or listed stakes race.
Comma to the Top finished off his 2010 campaign with a win in the $750,000 CashCall Futurity (G1) at Hollywood Park. Comma to the Top also won the Generous S. (G3) and Real Quiet S. during the Hollywood Fall Meet. The bay colt won six of ten races overall in 2010, with earnings of $551,600.
Comma to the Top was bred in Florida by Richard and Linda Thompson. He sold in 2010 at the OBS Spring April sale, where he was purchased by Peter Miller.
