Journeyman Stud's Consolidator and Bwana Charlie second crop of runners have put both of the stallions in the Top 5 of the 2010 Florida sophomore sire lists, ranking second and fourth, respectively.
The results aren't surprising after a great 2009 finish, when Consolidator wound up fourth and Bwana Charlie sixth in the standings for their first crop.

Both sires had their current year totals padded with maiden-breakers over the past weekend.

June 5th at Churchill Downs, Tater Taunter, a 2-year-old filly by Consolidator, won a five-furlong maiden special weight race on the main track by 1 1/4-lengths. The race was the career debut for the dark bay or brown filly, who is owned by Perry Harrison and trained by Allen Crupper. The victory was worth $28,800. Harrison purchased Tater Taunter out of the 2009 Keeneland September yearling sale from breeder Clarkland Farm.

On the same day at Woodbine, a 2-year-old filly by Bwana Charlie broke her maiden by a length in a 4 1/2-furlong maiden special weight race over the synthetic surface. Tristanme races in the name of her owner/breeder Bill Heiligbrodt and is trained by Steve Asmussen. She earned $32,240 for the win. Tristanme is a half-sister to the stakes winners Eternal Cup and Regiment.
