Cowtown Cat's winners from his first crop hit 10 on Oct. 17 with Milenario's victory against straight maidens at Camarero Racetrack in Puerto Rico. He was the second winner in three days for the Journeyman Stud stallion, whose winner's total is three more than any other Florida first-crop sire.

Cowtown Cat is also in the top 15 on the North American Freshman Sire list, with the stakes-placed winner One Firm Cat his leading earner this year.

Milenario, bred in Florida by Stone Alley, was purchased by his trainer Jose Garcia Ronzino out of the 2011 Keeneland September yearling sale. The bay colt hails from the same family as two-time sprint champion Housebuster, as well as Grade 2 winners Quero Quero and Nicole H.
