Tricksareforkids drew away to a three-length maiden win Sept. 21 at Fairplex Park to give her sire Cowtown Cat his sixth winner from his first crop, best among all Florida first-crop sires. His progeny have earned $188,913 thus far this year, more than $80,000 than his nearest competitor on the same Florida list.
Tricksareforkids went gate to wire in the 4 1/2-furlong contest, while never really being threatened at any point while under a hand ride from Kevin Krigger. The winner is one of four winners from her dam Mia Fast Trick, including the stakes-placed Sumwhrovrtherainbw.
Cowtown Cat has also sire the stakes-placed One Firm Cat, who was second in the $107,995 Barretts Juvenile S., also at Fairplex, on Sept. 16.
