With another maiden winner and a stakes-placed runner the past week, Journeyman Stud's first-crop sire Exclusive Quality has moved into the fourth spot on Florida's freshman sire list.

The newest juvenile winner is Appealing Quality; the bay filly broke her maiden in front-running style at Northlands Park on Sept. 2. Bred in Florida by Robert and Sharon Duncan, the 2-year-old is one of six winners out of Appealing Fool.

Earlier in the week, Exclusively Maria was beaten less than two lengths in the $75,000 Catcharisingstar S. on the turf at Calder. The filly has never been off the board in four lifetime starts. She was also bred in Florida, by David Perkins and is trained by Bisnath Parbhoo.
