A filly from the first crop of Exclusive Quality sold for $82,000 during day 1 of the OBS March Sale of 2-year-olds. The filly was the first offering at sale by the Journeyman stallion, who won the Spectacular Bid S. over G1 winner In Summation and also set a seven-furlong track record of 1:21.11 at Gulfstream Park during his undefeated 3-year-old season. Exclusive Quality is also known for being the only other horse besides Invasor to defeat champion Bernardini.

The bay filly, cataloged as hip No. 184, made a splash at the under tack show when she zipped a furlong in 10 seconds flat. Consigned by Kenneth LeJeune, agent, she was purchased by Buzz Chace, agent for West Point Thorougbreds. Chace also purchased Exclusive Quality at auction.

Named Podium Seeker, the chestnut filly is out of On the Podium, who was stakes-placed in Canada.

Eight-year-old Exclusive Quality has been very well-received his first three seasons at stud, breeding to 295 mares. His stud fee for 2011 is $4,000, LFS&N.
