Grade 1-winning juvenile and racing millionaire Circular Quay sired his first foal on Jan. 15 when a chestnut filly was born at Destiny Oaks Farm in Ocala, FL.

The filly (pictured) is out of the High Yield mare Destiny’s Yield, who is a winning half-sister to multiple stakes winner Brush Over.

The 6-year-old Circular Quay won the Hopeful S. (G1) at two and was a major graded stakes winner at three and four, capturing the Louisiana Derby (G2) and New Orleans H. (G2) at Fair Grounds. He retired in 2008 with four graded stakes victories and earnings of $1,505,434.

By Kentucky Derby winner Thunder Gulch out of the Grade 1-winning juvenile Circle of Life, Circular Quay is set to stand his second season at Brent and Crystal Fernung’s Journeyman Stud for a fee of $6,500 stands and nurses.
