Hear No Evil had one of the highlights of the third day of the OBS 2013 Spring Sale of Two-Year-Olds in Training when a filly by Journeyman Stud stallion Hear No Evil sold to Conquest Stables LLC for $370,000, the top-priced filly and the second-best price overall of the session. The central Florida auction runs April 22-25.

Hip No 890, named Thank You Daddy, whose quarter mile breeze in :20 2/5 was the sale’s fastest at the distance during the last week's under tack show, was consigned by Blue River Bloodstock, Agent. The bay filly, bred in Florida by Chris Gabel is out of Saint Sammi, by Saint Ballado, a full sister to graded stakes winner Flame Thrower.

"We like the way she worked," said trainer Mark Casse. "She's a beautiful horse. She just looks fast."

The filly marked a milestone Sergio Centeno, she is the most expensive horse he has sold through his Blue River Bloodstock.

"It's very exciting," Centeno said. "She's a nice filly. She trained very well for me leading up to the sale."

The filly is also the first 2-year-old by Hear No Evil offered at auction this year. Hear No Evil is the sire of Jackson Bend, the recently retired multiple Grade 1 winner who joined his sire on the Journeyman stallion roster for the 2013 season.
