Brent and Crystal Fernung's Journeyman Stud hosted the farm's first stallion show Saturday, Dec. 8 at the old Sez Who Thoroughbreds property in Ocala.

Great weather, food and entertainment provided for a good turnout of breeders and horsemen who got their first look at Journeyman Stud's 2008 roster of stallions. Six of Florida's top studs were on showcase, including Bwana Charlie, Cashel Castle, Exclusive Quality, Mass Media, Mongoose and Wildcat Heir during the four-hour program.

The announcement of the latest addition to the Journeyman Stud roster was made formal, as the Grade 2-winning son of A.P. Indy, Saint Anddan, was introduced to Florida breeders.

The program concluded with a draw for five free stallion seasons to attendees of the show. The winners of the seasons are: Trish Whitman (Mass Media), Joe Pickerrell (Mongoose), Rick Tortora (Exclusive Quality), Michelle Landry (Cashel Castle) and Robert Walker (Bwana Charlie).

Journeyman Stud will be hosting an Open House on Saturday, January 19 which will include a viewing of new arrival Saint Anddan as well as drawings for complimentary seasons for all seven Journeyman stallions. Only those who have signed contracts for 2008 will be eligible for complimentary seasons to Wildcat Heir and Saint Anddan at the drawing.
