Journeyman stallions make the grade nationally and locally

Journeyman Stud continued its ascent into the ranks of the elite stallion programs, with four stakes winners by four different stallions on Belmont Stakes Day, June 9th.

The stakes winners range from a $400,000 Grade 2 winner at Belmont to three $75,000 stakes in a row at Calder. The stakes winners are: Trinniberg, by Teuflesberg, winner of the Woody Stephens S. (G2), [read more]; Fort Loudon, by Awesome of Course, winner of the Unbridled Stakes, [read more]; Another Romance, by Saint Anddan, winner of the Leave Me Alone Stakes, [read more]; and Wild Bout Tiffany, winner of the U Can Do It Stakes, [read more].

In addition, Journeyman Freshman Sire Circular Quay got his inaugural winner that day, vaulting him into second place on the Florida Freshman Sires List behind yet another Journeyman stallion, [read more here].
