Wildcat Heir, Florida’s Leading Active Freshman Sire and a Top 5 National Freshman Sire, gained his crop-high 21st 2-year-old maiden winner from his debut crop on Oct. 5th when his filly Karmageddon proved best in a $47,000 maiden special weight heat at the Meadowlands.
The win added to the amount of maiden special weight winners, which make up the majority of the 21 juveniles to reach the winner’s circle for Wildcat Heir. Karmageddon won by three-parts of a length after showing good speed throughout. The bay filly ran six furlongs in 1:11.17 over a fast local dirt track.
Trained by Douglas Nunn, Karmageddon now holds a record of 1-1-0 from two starts with earnings of $37,180 for her owners and breeders Headless Horsemen Racing. She was bred in New Jersey from the Kissin Kris mare Kismet.
Wildcat Heir boasts current progeny earnings exceeding $600,000.
