Journeyman's Mass Media got winner number six when Luna Grande broke her maiden by 2 1/4-lengths on Aug. 28 at Calder Race Course. She now has a win and two seconds to her credit, with earnings of $37,051.

Mass Media now has six winners on the year from his first crop, and is ranked in the Top 5 among Florida's juvenile sires.

Luna Grande came from seventh in the field of 11 to win the six-furlong race for 2-year-old fillies. She was bred in Florida by Joel Carino. She is owned by Mauricio Fuentes, who bought her out of the 2009 OBS Open sale last August.

The dark bay or brown filly is one of four winners out of her dam Dream Lady Dream, who was a 12-time winner of $174,990.
