Florida's second-leading freshman sire Saint Anddan accounted for another winner on Aug. 27 when the filly Lok Virsa scored by 2 3/4-lengths in front-running style going seven furlongs at Calder Race Course.

Journeyman Stud's Brent and Crystal Fernung, along with Dr. Phil Matthews, bred Lok Virsa in Florida. Journeyman consigned and sold the filly to the OBS spring sale in April, where the filly's current trainer Larry Bates purchased her on behalf of owner John Brown.

Folk Art, the dam of Lok Virsa, has already produced the stakes-placed filly Folk Dancer. Folk Art is a half-sister to Quinpool, who was third in the Grade 1 Kentucky Oaks and Comic Genius, who ran second in the Remington Park Derby.
