With a recent spate of winners and his latest stakes horse, Saint Anddan has risen to the second spot on Florida's second-crop sire list, behind only fellow Journeyman Stud stallion Exclusive Quality. Saint Anddan, who finished 2011 as the leading freshman Florida sire of winners, stands this year for $4,500, while Exclusive Quality is offered at $4,000.
Saint Anddan had three stakes horses last year, with Saint D'Aroak, winner of the $90,000 City of Anderson S., leading the way. Bleu Darling is his first stakes horse of 2012, with a solid second in the $125,000 Starlet S. on Feb. 4. Three-year-old Bleu Darling has hit the board in four of five career starts, earning $69,709.
