With 11 winners to his credit through Oct. 14, first-crop sire Saint Anddan rests atop Florida's list of freshman sires.
The Journeyman Stud stallion got his latest winner Friday at Calder when Sinner's Gold dueled her way to a nose victory in a seven furlong maiden special weight contest.
The winner, a dark bay filly, was bred in Florida by Beth Bayer. Sinner's Gold sold at the April OBS Spring 2-year-old sale, bringing a winning bid of $34,000 from her current owner, N.T.S. Stable.
