Trinniberg, the leading earner of 2011 for first-crop sire Teuflesberg, is one of the top three choices in the first running of the $500,000 Breeders' Cup Juvenile Sprint. The fifth race on the Friday, Nov. 4 card at Churchill Downs, the six furlong Sprint will run at 4:10 p.m.

Trinniberg punched his ticket to the Sprint with runner-up efforts in the Grade 1 Hopeful S. and the Grade 2 Nashua S. The dark bay colt has earned $101,300 for Shivananda Parbhoo, who bought the colt this past April at the OBS Spring sale.

Teuflesberg is currently ranked sixth among Florida's freshman stallions. Besides Trinniberg, he has also sired the stakes-placed Not an Altar Boy. Teuflesberg won an allowance race at age two at Churchill Downs, and like Trinniberg, was graded stakes placed at Saratoga as a juvenile.
