Jaguar Barows, bred in Florida by Dierdre Marsh and David LaCroix, certainly has the pedigree on both sides to be a top-quality racehorse. Aleyna's Love is a half-sister to Haunting, winner of the Grade 3 Rare Treat H.

Jaguar Barows has been through the auction ring three times, increasing in price each time. Initially sold as a weanling for $37,000 in Jan. 2011, he then brought $60,000 at he Fasig-Tipton Kentucky Summer yearling sale in July. Finally, he was offered at Barretts this March, when a winning bid of $120,000 was secured by his current owner Hirotsuga Inokuma.
