Paris Heiress, a 3-year-old filly by Journeyman stallion Wildcat Heir, ran her record to a perfect 2-for-2 after a sharp allowance score in a six-furlong sprint at Fair Grounds on Mar. 26.

In her debut three weeks prior, Paris Heiress wired the field for a three-length win her maiden-breaker. She used the same style in the allowance victory.  She shot right to the front, was challenged on the turn by eventual third-place finisher Blading Gold Ring, shook clear of that foe to draw away in the stretch, then held off another challenge by runner-up Miss Diane to win by a half-length. The final time was a very solid 1:10 2/5.

Owned by Gold Square, Paris Heiress has now earned $38,700. She is trained by Steve Margolis.

Paris Heiress is a half-sister to the stakes-placed colt All Expenses Paid. She sold for $60,000 at the 2009 OBS March selected sale.

Wildcat Heir is currently ranked fourth on Florida's 2010 general sire list. He has 18 winners from 49 starters for the year, good for 37%, which is the best among the list leaders.
