Welcome to Journeyman Journals

Our new blog spot for everything equine.

General industry news is easily accessible from the many different online magazines and blogs. In creating Journeyman Journals we want to highlight some aspects of DAILY equine living that you might not see from these publications, giving updates on such things as Journeyman Stud stallion progeny, foaling, sales and daily farm life.

We get tours visiting Journeyman Stud almost daily with tourist and general racing fans who want to visit the inner workings of the Thoroughbred industry.  Journeyman Journals will be an convenient way for us to “stay connected” with these new friends.

One common goal industry wide is to generate new interest in our sport for all ages, but especially  from young people. In the 1930’s our sport was graced with the likes of Seabiscuit and War Admiral and their great racing rivalry helping to make horse racing the most watched sporting event, more so than even baseball.  The excitement of horse racing has not waned, but there is a need to do a better job of teaching people HOW to enjoy it.

With Journeyman Journals we hope to Connect, Communicate and Educate and have fun in the process while having a streamline conversation with our breeders, fans, and community.
