Journeyman Bloodstock Success
The pinnacle of success in the Thoroughbred Industry is to win a Classic race such as the Kentucky Derby. The winner of the derby's success is passed down through many connections and the benefits go far beyond the purse of the race. The value of the Classic Winner's sire and broodmare as well as close siblings is affected significantly.
To have had the experience and the luck to purchase a mare that goes on to foal a "Classic" winner is truly one of the most exciting parts of the industry. Journeyman Bloodstock and Brent Fernung have purchased prior to their success, the dams of 2 Kentucky Derby Winners.
